Brenda. I feel so sorry for you guys. Carrie Duncan is acting pathological. She is using the "power of the press" not to tell a truthful story but to maliciously destroy your business with her lies while at the same time selling advertising space to Mexican owned businesses which make a profit from U.S. tourists in the Los Cabos areas. She talks like a crusader for justice for poor exploited Mexicans, but in reality, many workers have been brought over from mainland Mexico only to be discarded when they didn't work out as labor on the hotel projects. That is surely where Nied got his unsanitary laborers. Other unknown competitors may be acting behind the scenes as well.

Carrie Duncan is attempting to make the Judicial Police from San Jose del Cabo look like they are fools. Believe me, if the McGonagles had done anything wrong, the police would have persued prosecution. It is wrong for the Gazette to suggest that the Judicial Police from San Jose are anything less than completely honest. Whatever the minor transgression by Eugene Crane, it was completely independent from the fine contributions done in Zacatitos by Oceana and the McGonagles. The official police reports illustrate that.

I think Xal's website is very important. Carrie wants everybody to read her paper. She wants to have her own "trial in the press" and have public opinion find your company guilty, eventhough you are innocent. It's simple, vicious libel. If she wants to play that way, the only way to counteract her is with the TRUTH. This will allow everyone to understand that she is a pathological liar. Really, her publication needs to be shut-down completely in Mexico.

Her paper serves no good, besides being throw-away advertising. It's simply a waste of paper and ink. I hope the Mexicans of Los Cabos shut down the Gringo Gazette permanently.
