NOTES ON THE ON-LINE DOCUMENTS:

This extensive list contains many documents scanned from originals and presented as large Adobe Portable Document Files (PDF) which retain the original appearance (in this case as a coarse line graphic) of the original documents. These versions, which take minutes to download on a typical modem, are for archival-verification-reference purposes and are best viewed on a fast (DSL) connection or a patient modem.

Some documents are also scanned (thank you John Warren for this) into a Rich Text Format and output as more compact HTML files (as standard web-page). These versions are significantly smaller, faster to download, but are word-only (no graphics). Similarly, some documents have also been entered directly from original text and presented as standard web page HTML DOCS. Click on HTML versions if you want to access the content of a document quickly.

READING PDF FILES:

To read and enlarge the PDF documents you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Click here or on the above link for free download of this Portable Document File Reader from Adobe.

Misspellings of names (eg. Crane for Crain, Krammer for Cranmer, McConickle for McGonagle) is due to original Gringo Gazette misspellings, which at times have been carried forward in various letters and docs. The correct spellings are Crain, Cranmer, McGonagle.
